Here are my thoughts on the PR kit and the Tommy gun.

The 'G&P' M41A Pulse Rifle Kit, from Monsters In Motion.

The kit is well presented in two layers of polystyrene, with an instructions CD.
However, the 'instructions' on the CD are just a series of poor quality (IMHO) jpegs of each
stage of the strip down of the Tommy gun and the building of the PR kit onto the Tommy.
A few images do have brief bits of text on, but they could be a lot better.
Some of the images look very dark/high contrast (on my monitor anyway),
so I ran a few through PaintShopPro to lighten/improve them.
The set of new images can be downloaded from here:

Some observations after finishing the Pulse Rifle:

Next time, check the whole kit, inspecting each piece, because then you might find the 'missing' hex key
laying underneath the shroud before buying a new hex key set in Homebase.  :-]

The bb magazine that came with the Marui M1A1 is too long for the PR, so I'll have to buy another one.
Note: I need the
Tokyo Marui 190rd Magazine for Thompson M1A1.  Ordered.

The mag cover doesn't fit very well, often falling off with a mere tap.
I've ordered a modded mag base from someone on the
Aliens Legacy Forums, so that'll fix it.

The locking mechanism for the stock is poor, often not finding the holes for the 'bolt' to drop into.

The instruction images are really bad, missing certain pieces out of stages
(e.g. part of the sprung GL/battery compartment cover) and not clearly showing which bolt/screw to use.
So I got to the end and had three bolts to finish the clips on the shroud, but the bolts were the wrong type,
so for now I've just glued them in place.
 See images here for details.

I was surprised just how heavy the box is!
This gun looks the business, although the metal clips (for a strap) at each end
of the gun do make a cheap tapping noise against the hollow plastic stock and foregrip.
Not that it matters, as those parts aren't needed for the PR.  ;-)
The instructions also include a Japanese 'warnings' leaflet, with funny little sketches:

Number 2 seems to say "Don't push a dog when it's farting."  :-D

The actual build process is shown on the pages linked from the menu above.
