A Brief History of Gridrunner

Gridrunner was originally created for the unexpanded VIC-20 computer in 1982.

The game proved popular in both the U.K. and the U.S.A., and versions were then
created for the Atari 8-bit and Commodore 64 systems.

A sequel, Matrix, followed shortly afterwards on the VIC 20 and others
(and was released as 'Attack of the Mutant Camels' in the U.S.A.).

Towards the end of the 8-bit era, a further sequel, Voidrunner, was released for
the Commodore 64 and C16 computers.

The 16-bit era saw the release of an updated version - Super Gridrunner - for
the Atari ST and Commodore Amiga systems.

Gridrunner++ Brings the game up to date with insanely fast and challenging
action with particle pyrotechnics - whilst retaining the simple pick-up-and-play
purity of the game that inspired it.

Enjoy - And grab those sheepies!
